DIXFIELD — There will be a chili cook-off at the eighth grade
Fall Festival on Sunday, Nov. 22, at the Dirigo Middle School.
The Fall Festival will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and the
chili will be judged at noon in the cafeteria.

Entries may set up in
the cafeteria at 11 a.m. with electrical outlets and tables
available for crock pots. There will be a traditional category and a
gourmet category, with judging to be done by Dixfield Town Manager Gene
Skibitsky, Dixfield Ludden Librarian Peggy Malley and Dixfield Police
Officer Eric Bernier.

After the judging, bowls of the chili will be for sale with
the proceeds to benefit the eighth grade class trip to Quebec. Everyone is
invited to donate their best chili.

Chefs may preregister by calling Terry Richard at 562-4464 or register
at 11 a.m. on the day of the festival.
