LISBON — Moe and Janis Moore of Lisbon are pleased to announce the engagement of their son, Gregory, to Candace Cabrera, daughter of Lisa Palmer of Canaan, Conn., and John Deeds of Roxbury, Conn. The couple resides in Norwalk, Conn.

Mr. Moore is a 2002 graduate of Pioneer High School in Ann Arbor, Mich., and a 2006 graduate of the University of Maine at Orono with a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology and physical education. He is currently employed by the New York Islanders organization.

Miss Cabrera is a 2001 graduate of Housatonic Valley Regional High School and a 2004 graduate of the University of Connecticut with a bachelor’s degree in Spanish and received her master’s degree in secondary education in 2005. She enjoys teaching Spanish in the Connecticut School System.

The couple will wed on Friday, July 16 at the Dolce in Norwalk, Conn.
