This is in response to a recent article about 911 dispatchers not being able to correctly get the location of cell phone callers. As I understand it from cell phone manufacturers, all cell phones have GPS locator software installed. Why don’t manufacturers just display the coordinates on the LCD screen and that could be communicated to the 911 dispatchers?
