Armand W. ‘Sam’ Samson
1935 – 2009

LEWISTON — Armand “Sam” Samson, 73, of Lincoln Drive, Lewiston, died Monday, Nov. 9, at his home.

He was born in Rumford, Nov. 13, 1935, the son of Armand J. and Beatrice Dube Samson. He attended Lewiston schools and spent the majority of his life in the Lewiston area.

In 1956, he married Alice Gray and they had three children, Virginia, Diane and John and also raised another child, Cynthia Ames. They divorced in 1977 and he later married Selena Canney and they had two children, Christie and Josh. He also had nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a daughter, Diane Harmon; and a grandson, Lance Beauchesne.
