DIXFIELD — An underage drinking party early Wednesday morning resulted in four arrests and seven charges of young people.
Sgt. Jeffrey Howe said Dixfield officer Brad Gallant became suspicious that a drinking party was happening at 38 High St. around 2 a.m. Officers from Mexico and Rumford were called in to assist.
Arrested were: Samantha Miele, 19, of Greenwoods Road, Peru, operating without a license; Ryan Woods, 21, of 38 High St., furnishing a place for minors to consume liquor; Dakota Holmquist, 19, of 38 High St., furnishing a place for minors to consume liquor; and Levi Hutchins, 20, of 38 High St., furnishing a place for minors to consume liquor.
All were released from the Rumford Police Department on $300 each, unsecured bail. They are scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Feb. 2.
Miele was also charged with illegal possession of alcohol by a minor; Woods was charged with sale and use of drug paraphernalia; Holmquist was charged with illegal possession of alcohol by a minor; and Hutchins was charged with illegal possession of alcohol by a minor.
Also, Alexa Casey, 19, of Weld Street, Dixfield, Derek Daley 19, and Joshua Daley, 20, both of Hidden Meadow Lane, Dixfield, were each charged with illegal possession of alcohol by a minor.
In other police news:
• Bryan Thibodeau, 18, of Fourth Street, Mexico, was arrested on a charge of operating without a
license at 4:30 p.m. Nov. 21, at Canton Point
Road and Route 2. He was released from the Dixfield Police Department
on $300 unsecured bail. He is scheduled to appear in Rumford District
Court on Jan. 5.
• A car driven by Dinah L. Guildford, 54, Canton Point Road, collided with a calf at 5:15 p.m. Nov. 13 on Canton Point Road. The calf was killed and the 2002 Hyandai sedan sustained $3,500 damage.
