Clothing center open
HARTFORD — The
Hartford Community Church Clothing Center will be open from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5 and 19. The Clothing Center is located on Church Street, opposite of the church.
Bean supper
BETHEL — The Bethel United Methodist Church will hold a bean and casserole
supper at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5. The cost is $7 for adults and $3 for
children under 12. The lighting ceremony for the memorial Christmas
tree on the church lawn will also be held at this time. Everyone is
welcome to attend.
Christmas crafts
WATERFORD — The Waterford Library will offer a Christmas crafts workshop for kids
from 10:30 a.m. to noon Saturday, Dec. 5. Participants
will make ornaments to bring home, and activities will include storytelling and treats.
Preregistration is required. Call the Waterford Library at

age and name of the child.
Fair and tea
BETHEL — A Christmas fair and tea will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday,
Dec. 5, at the West Parish
Congregational Church, UCC, Church Street. For more information, call 824-2689.
Turkey dinner
SOUTH PARIS — A roast turkey dinner with all the fixings will be held
from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, at Deering Memorial Methodist Church, Main and Church streets. Chocolate brownies and ice cream will be
the dessert. The cost is $8 for adults and $3.50 for children under 12. Parking is available behind the library and town office.
Santa visit
PARIS — Santa Claus will visit the Children’s Room of the Paris Public
Library from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5. All children are
welcome to share their holiday wishes with Santa at the library.
