Returning letter-winners: Seniors — Andy Bettencourt, Cam Moniz, Vlad Gavrik, Colin Taylor, Kyle Black, Evan Richardson, Chris Gacsy, Bryan Felice, Nate Dupere, Ian Canty. Junior — Alex Doumeng.

Key Losses: Chad Goodwin, Andrew Cetola, Ken Pia, Billy Brewster, Eric Rodriguez, Matt Siracusa, Peter Quigley, Craig Ryan

Promising newcomers: PG — Jamie Tyminski; Junior — Joey Collins; Sophomores — Jeremy Laing, Drake Hart, Alex Mills.

Outlook: Having lost a good portion of their offense from a year ago, the bright spot will be in the net and on the blueline. The Lumberjacks return every single defenseman in their top 6 rotation from last year and look to be very solid and very deep in net again this year. They still have a good chunk of offense returning as well, with Bettencourt, Moniz and Gavrik all back. They may not score in numbers like they did a year ago but they should still be in the thick of things all season.

“The key to our success this season will be how quickly we come together as a team and learn to share the load together. The returners know how important team chemistry was for last season’s successes and with our leadership I am confident that we will gel and become a cohesive unit.
