Returning letter winners: Girls: Junior – Kayla Richardson; Sophomores: Kaitlyn Davis, Kendra Elie. Boys: Seniors – Brock Naylor, Luke Wiley, Sam Ricker, Brody Youland; Junior – Isaac Elie.
Key losses: Boys: Tyler Elwell, Zach Renaud.
Promising newcomers: None available at press time.
Outlook: Leavitt won’t flaunt a big team, but the boys will have depth and experience with the four seniors. Ricker and Youland were top-10 finishers in giant slalom at last year’s state meet. Richardson is the top returnee for the girls.
Coach’s comment: “If we can stay on our feet in the big meets, the boys will be very competitive. We’re working on the mental aspect and not letting the pressure and stress get to us.”
