Returning letter winners: Seniors – Peter Blais (5-9 guard), Ronnie Turner (6-2 forward), Matt Beauparlant (5-9 guard); Juniors – Mekae Hyde (5-10 guard), Chris Paine (6-4 center).
Key losses: Omar Mohamed (center), Chuck Faletra (guard).
Promising newcomers: Senior – Trey Ouellette (5-10 guard); Juniors – Alex Chicoine (6-4 forward), Abdi Osman (6-2 forward); Sophomore – Corbin Hyde (6-0 forward).
Outlook: The Blue Devils hope to continue to improve as the year unfolds. They hope Turner, their top scorer last year, can return from a broken ankle sustained during football season by mid-January. Blais, Mekae Hyde, Beauparlant and Ouellette, a transfer from Poland, form what sould be an improved backcourt. Farrar expects them to be strong defensively. If they can develop a consistent offense, they could surprise.
