FARMINGTON — Misty came to the Franklin County Animal Shelter in October as a private surrender and is patiently waiting for her forever home, staff says.

She is a white pit mix and is full of energy. Misty loves tennis balls and treats.

According to the staff, she does need to learn some socialization skills, but she knows basic commands such as sit and lay down. They said that she is a very sweet dog and prefers a home where she will be center of a loving family.

The shelter would also appreciate donations of cat food, cat litter, bleach and large trash bags. For more information, call 778-2638.
