RUMFORD – Black Mountain of Maine will host a snowmobile hill climb this Saturday, Dec. 12.

Registration starts at 7:30 a.m. Entry fee is $25 per class on the day of the event or $20 if you preregister and prepay. Registration deadline is 30 minutes prior to each race.

Schedule of events: Hill Climb phase 1, 10 a.m.; Antique hill climb, noon; Kids 120 Class hill climb, 1:30 p.m.; Hill climb phase 2, 3 p.m. Immedately to follow are a Top 8 Hill Climb elimination, a “grudge match” head-to-head race to the top, awards, and music and dancing from 8 p.m. to midnight.

Admission at the fate will be $5 for ages 13 and up and $3 for 12 and under. Racers also will pay a gate fee. For more information, call 364-8977 or go to www.skiblackmountain.org.
