Puppet show
LIVERMORE FALLS — The Puppeteers from Eaton Memorial United Methodist Church, corner of Church and Knapp streets, will present their fourth annual Christmas show on Sunday, Dec. 13. The first show will be at 9 a.m. and will take place of the regular worship service, and the second show will be at 6 p.m.
This show will be “Christmas With the Animals.” Each of the animals will give the Christmas story from the animal’s perspective. This is for children of all ages. There is no charge, but a free-will offering will be accepted to help with the purchase of new puppets and other expenses. There will be light refreshments following each show. Christmas concert
FARMINGTON — The Farmington Baptist Church will present
“The Spirit of Christmas,” a concert for the Christmas season, at
6:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 12 and 13. The church is located at 194 Whittier Road. For more information, call 779-0731
Open house
FARMINGTON — The Franklin County Children’s Task Force open house will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12.
It will be a winter wonderland event with the joining of the Tri-Valley
United Way hosting pictures with Santa in the United Way office on
Broadway.
Sleigh rides will begin on Church Street and end back at the Children’s
Task Force, where there will be cookies, hot cocoa and cider.
All children will leave with hats and mittens and a small gift. The
event is hosted by the Franklin County Children’s Task Force, The
Tri-Valley United Way and sponsored by the Downtown Business and
Professional Association.
Teen dance
CANTON — A
Christmas dance for teenagers will be held from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, at the Old
Canton Municipal Building. All teenagers 12 years old and up are welcome.
Refreshments will be served. Admission is $2. The event will benefit The Old Canton School
