LEWISTON — The YWCA of Central Maine will register current YWCA members for winter swim lessons starting on Monday, Dec. 14. Registration for nonmembers will begin on Monday, Dec. 21.

Lessons are available for all abilities starting at age 6 months to adult. Lessons will begin on Jan. 4 and finish Feb. 13. For a complete schedule of classes, visit www.YWCAMaine.org.

Members registering on Dec. 14 and 15 and nonmembers registering on Dec. 21 and 22 will receive four family passes to YWCA Winter Blast swims. The passes will allow families to come to four different Winter Blast swims free of charge, a $100 value. Winter Blast is offered from 2 to 4 p.m.

Private swim lessons are also available by appointment. The cost for private swim lessons is $25 each half hour or $45 each hour session. Participants must be members of the YWCA.
