What comes out of the mouths and minds of babes is sometimes quite impressive. I happened to intercept and read a letter to the North Pole. It was written by a 7-year-old girl from Sabattus, and I thought that more people than Santa should be blessed with its message:
“Dear Santa: Hi, Santa. I would like a lot for the holiday, but not any solid thing! It includes magic, holiday spirit, fun, enjoyment, laughter, snow, memories, kindness, giving to others, and lots of family stuff for families to do together.
“My holiday wish is to all children across the whole world! I wish every family this year would believe magic and all that awesome holiday stuff, not violence and hurting others.
“And everyone on the world to be happy and healthy on holiday day, for all times and generations.
“So have a merry holiday, Santa. You be good! (Joke, ha!)
“Bye, bye. Write to you next year.
“Love, Daisy”
