George J. ‘Edmo’ Martineau
RUMFORD — Funeral services for George J. Martineau were conducted Wednesday at the Meader and Son Funeral Home, Rumford, with the Rev. Alfred Jacques, pastor of the Parish of the Holy Savior Church, Rumford, officiating. Music was provided by guitarist, Noel Palmer who sang “To Love Somebody,” “Unchained Melody” and “Drive.” The eulogy was given by Ashley Stone, Libby Parr and Greig Parr. Pallbearers were Steve Stone, Jason Richard, Libby Parr, Ashley Stone, McKenzie Parr, Alicia Richard, Drew Harmon and Gabrielle Harmon. Committal services were conducted by the Rev. Jacques and with military honors provided by the Maine Military Funeral Honors Program from Augusta. A reception followed at the Rumford Falls Aerie 1248, F.O.E., Rumford.
