SABATTUS — A special selectmen meeting was held on Tuesday, Dec. 8, to welcome Michelle Ames and Ronda Fournier to the board. They were sworn into office at 6:30 p.m. by Town Clerk Suzanne Adams.

Fournier is a science teacher at Lewiston High School and has represented Sabattus at the Androscoggin Budget Committee meetings.

Ames is a licensed real estate agent for Henry’s Factory Built Homes and was recently the chairwoman of the Sabattus Planning Board.

Also at the meeting, Selectmen Scott Lansley was elected as the new board chairman and Selectman Ronda Fournier was elected vice chairwoman.
