LISBON FALLS — Charles and Amy Turon of Bradenton, Fla., are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Bethany Turon, to Derek Dooen, son of Bruce Dooen and Cindy Dooen of Georgetown and Auburn.

Miss Turon is a 2003 graduate of the University of Florida with a master’s degree in international business. She is employed at Wal-Mart Distribution Center.

Mr. Dooen is a student at Andover College in Lewiston for a degree as medical assistant. He is employed at John F. Murphy Homes.

The wedding will take place on June 26.
