Jeanelle Demers of Lewiston, above, is the new curator for L/A Arts’ Gallery 5. A graduate of the University of Vermont with a bachelor’s degree in studio art, she is outreach coordinator for the Art Van Program, works part time at Willy Beans and Guthries, and is a member of Captive Elements Art House. Demers’ artwork includes a study of technological images and a portrait series titled "200 Faces," showing in the Art & Ale window at Gritty McDuff’s in Auburn.
