Incident report statistics
Between Dec. 13 at 6 a.m. and Dec. 20 at 6 a.m., patrol officers responded to 45
complaints.
Arrests/Summonses
On Dec. 14 — 3:15 p.m. Gary Bannelli, 66, a transient, was arrested by Cpl. Douglas Maifeld for criminal trespass on Route 2. Bannelli was unable to post $500 cash bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Feb. 2. At 3:45 p.m. Maifeld charged Bannelli on a warrant out of Hancock County for failure to appear for a criminal trespass in 2006. Bannelli was unable to post $1,000 cash bail and was transported to the Oxford County Jail.
On Dec. 14 — 11:48 p.m. Alexandria Morton, 39, of Rumford was arrested by Cpl. Matthew Noyes on a warrant for failure to appear on an operating after suspension on High Street. Morton was able to post $300 cash bail and was released.
On Dec. 18 — 9:20 p.m. Alfred Gravel, 22, of Casco was arrested by Patrolman Michael Belanger for possession of a Schedule W drug on Bridge Street. Gravel was also charged with illegal possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Gravel posted $1,000 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Feb. 2.
On Dec. 18 — 9:20 p.m. Christopher Burgess, 19, of Mexico was summonsed by Patrolman Lawrence Winson for illegal possession of marijuana on Bridge Street. Burgess is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Feb. 2.
On Dec. 20 — 1:50 a.m. William Conley, 40, of Rumford was arrested by Patrolman Michael Belanger for domestic violence assault and criminal threatening on Erchles Street. Conley was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Feb. 2.
Assault
On Dec. 14 — 6:36 p.m. Bryant Pond resident reported being head-butted by
a Rumford resident. No charges as the victim refused to cooperate.
