AUGUSTA — Maine Right to Life of Auburn will host its annual Hands Around the Capitol Memorial on Saturday, Jan. 16.
The program will begin with a Mass celebrated by Bishop Richard Malone of the Diocese of Portland at St. Michael’s Church, 41 Western Ave., Augusta, and a prayer service conducted at Penny Memorial United Baptist Church, 393 Water St., Augusta, both at 10 a.m.
Those who choose not to attend the Mass or prayer service are welcome to gather at St. Michael’s Gym at 11 a.m. to join the rally and warm up prior to the march to the Capitol.
The rally will begin at 11:15 a.m. The march to the Capitol will begin at 12:15 p.m. and will be led by Maine Right to Life Committee President Linda Milliken.
