Svetlana V. Wing
1959 – 2009

LEWISTON — Svetlana Victorovna Wing, 50, of Litchfield, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 29, at the Central Maine Medical Center, after a long battle with melanoma.

She was born in Siberia, Russia, July 13, 1959, a daughter of Victor Podkolzin and Lyudmila Razenkova. She moved to Crimea, Ukraine, when she was eight years old.

She was a pharmacist in the Ukraine when she came to the United States in April 2000. She passed the Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Examination (FPGEE) in 2005. She was employed by Comprehensive Pharmacy Services as a pharmacy technician at the Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston. She very much enjoyed her work and co-workers.

She was a member of the Slavonic Society and the Harvest Hills Church in Auburn.

She is survived by her husband, Lyle K. Wing of Litchfield; her son, Oleg Sergeevich Wing of Litchfield; her mother, Lyudmila Razenkova of Yalta, Ukraine; and her brother, Oleg Nikolaevich Razenkov of Yalta, Ukraine.
