On Friday, Dec. 11, members of the Auburn-Lewiston YMCA’s Skills & Drills program entertained the crowd at the Edward Little High School boys’ basketball game during halftime. The boys & girls showcased some of the skills they had been working on during the eight-week program. Skills & Drills is designed to introduce 4, 5 & 6-year-old boys and girls to the game of basketball. Seventy children took part in the program. This season, the players were fortunate to have the following varsity athletes volunteer during the Skill & Drills program: James Philbrook, Yusuf Iman, Bowen Leary, Quin Leary and Kayla Cummings.
