County Republicans

LOCKE MILLS — The Oxford County Republican Committee will meet on Tuesday, Jan. 12.
A social hour will begin at 5:30 p.m., with dinner at 6:30 p.m., for $7.50.

David A. Duguay, county commissioner for District 2, will be the guest speaker.
The meeting will be hosted by the Locke Mills Union Church, located on Route 26 between Bryant Pond and Bethel. For more information, contact Loretta Mikols at 875-2229.

Beauty contest

SOUTH PARIS — The Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School Interact Club will sponsor the first annual Womanless Beauty
Contest from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 16, at the high school. The contest will raise money to fund Interact projects
such as Beth’s House and Relay for Life. Any man is welcome to compete in the beauty and talent phases and for the crown of Mr. Oxford Hills.

Admission is $5 at the door. First
and second prizes and a Mr. Attitude trophy will be awarded.

Beautification program

WEST PARIS — Any residents that are interested in starting a permanent beautification program in West Paris may contact Ted Jones at 674-2507. Once contacted, a date will be set to meet at the town office in the evening.
