AUBURN — Announcement is made of the engagement of Stephanie Bazinet, daughter of Jeannette Bazinet of Auburn and the late Jack Bazinet, to Derek Gagnon, son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Gagnon of Augusta.

Miss Bazinet is a 2009 graduate of the University of Southern Maine and is employed as the residential care coordinator at the Chapman House.

Mr. Gagnon is a 2005 graduate of Endicott College and is employed as a commercial account executive at Great Works Internet Inc.

An Aug. 14 wedding will be held at the Popham Chapel.
