This letter is being written as we have not had much luck trying to reach, much less talk to anyone, regarding a problem with wild turkeys.

It is my understanding that turkeys were re-introduced by the state. For what purpose, I don’t have a clue.

My thinking at the moment is that “if you brought them in, you sure can send them back as well.”

They are a nuisance, and dirty, destructive creatures that I don’t believe too many people would miss. They raise havoc with farmers’ fields and growing crops. They also are trying to get into the middle of our rhododendron bush, which has been here forever. One was sitting in our flowering crab tree, the weight of its body making the limb bounce up and down.

Since I’m not getting any response from officials, I’m hoping this letter will help.
