LEWISTON — The Ware Street Inn is celebrating 10 years of providing lodging for the community’s visitors by expanding its services to area residents and businesses.
Following the completion of the expansion of the kitchen to meet requirements for commercial use, the inn received expanded licenses from the city of Lewiston and the state of Maine to offer meals other than breakfast to its overnight guests, as well as to community members who schedule small meetings and other events at the inn.
The inn’s backyard patio and grounds offer private space during the summer months for small weddings, garden party luncheons and similar functions. The interior space offers a large living room for retreats and meetings as well as a den and sun porch as breakout rooms.
