RUMFORD – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated for Mrs. Jacqueline M. Dumas of Rumford, at 11 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 16, at Parish of the Holy Savior, St. Athanasius – St. John Church, Rumford. Celebrant was the Rev. James Martel, Altar assistant was Mr. George Gionet, and organist was Mr. Mark Belanger. Music included “Hosea,” “Ave Maria,” “Amazing Grace” and “On Eagle’s Wings.” Readings were given by grandchildren, Jarrod and Maia Dumas. Eulogy was given by her son, Paul Dumas Jr. Poems “My Prayer Tree,” was read by granddaughter, Maia Dumas and “The Bobcat and the Fawn,” was read by grandson, Jarrod Dumas, were written by Mrs. Jacqueline Dumas. Military honors were provided by the Maine Military Funeral Honors Program from Augusta. Interment with military honors will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 12, at St. John Cemetery, Rumford.
