Merle Tufvesson Phelps

RUMFORD – Funeral services for Mr. Merle Tufvesson Phelps of Greene, and formerly of Rumford, were conducted at 3 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 16, at the MEADER & SON FUNERAL HOME, 3 Franklin St.,, P. O. Box 537, Rumford, ME 04276, with the Rev. Gary Bragg and the Rev. R. Kelly Harvell officiating. Music selections were “Amazing Grace” and “In the Garden.” Special music “Remember Me,” was sung by Mrs. Janet Bragg. Interment in the spring with military honors will be at Gracelawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Auburn. A reception followed at the Virgin Memorial Chapel of the Rumford United Methodist Church, Rumford.
