Livermore Falls 79, Telstar 50
BETHEL — Nate Michaud led a trio of players in double figures as Livermore Falls rolled to a 79-50 victory over Telstar in MVC boys’ basketball action Thursday.

Michaud led the mighty Andies (11-3) with a game-high 20 points, including 18 from beyond the arc. Chandler White chipped in with 14 points and six assists, while Kyle Whittemore added 13 in a well-balanced attack.

The Rebels (4-9) pulled to within five ponts late in the second quarter but ran out of gas during the final frame.  Dan Vaughn led the way with 16 points, while  Cory howard chipped in with 14 and Dan Whitney added 10.

Lewiston 3, Scarborough 0

LEWISTON — Sam Cloutier scored a goal and collected a pair of assists as Lewiston took down Scarborough 3-0 in a hockey game Thursday.

Cloutier scored first for the Blue Devils (9-2) thanks to assists from Nick Mathon and Ryan Lemelin. Ben Wigant topped off the scoring the second stanza with his goal. Cloutier and Scott Ouellette were credited with assists.

In the third period, Joey Fournier dropped in the third goal with the help of assists from Cloutier and Cody Dussault. Goalie Cam Poussard collected a shutout for the evening.
