Melanee Newman, daughter of Tracey Newman of Oxford, has been named to the dean’s list for the 2009 fall semester at the University of New England. Dean’s list students have attained a grade point average of 3.30 or better out of a possible 4.0 at the end of the semester.

A 2009 graduate of Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School, Newman is a major in athletic training. She is also actively involved at the university in TABS.
