Kathryn Johnson, daughter of Marlene and Andy Witham of Greene and David Johnson of Portland, has been named to the dean’s list for the 2009 fall semester at the University of New England. Dean’s list students have attained a grade point average of 3.30 or better out of a possible 4.0 at the end of the semester.

A 1998 graduate of Leavitt Area High School, Johnson is a major in animal behavior. She is also actively involved at the university in the Equine Club and is currently an intern at the Annabessacook Veterinary Clinic in Monmouth.
