DES MOINES, Iowa — John Clark of Poland has successfully completed coursework at Firestone University.

Clark is employed by GCR Tire Centers, a certified Firestone farm tire dealer. Certified staff are specially trained and fully equipped to meet farm, construction and forestry tire replacement, repair and service needs, including in-field service.

During an intense three-day program, Firestone University provided Clark and fellow students with a comprehensive review of tire technology. The curriculum includes the basics of tire construction, advanced tire technology and setup for agricultural, construction and forestry applications. The program is conducted at the Firestone brand agricultural tire headquarters in Des Moines and includes a tour of the plant along with hands-on problem-solving exercises for students.
