AUBURN — Central Maine Community College President Scott Knapp has announced the following staff appointments:

Pamela Remieres-Morin, dean of finance. A resident of Lewiston, she graduated from Thomas College with a baccalaureate degree in professional studies and a master’s degree in business administration. She served as business manager for WCSH 6 and WLBZ 2 for nine years, where she was responsible for internal controls and financial statements.

John Devine, associate dean of academic affairs. A native of Cumberland, Devine earned his baccalaureate degree in economics and government from Bowdoin College. He then graduated with a juris doctorate from the University of Maine School of Law. Devine worked at a law firm in Portland and has been associated with the community college system for more than seven years.

John Bowie, director of financial aid. A Lisbon native who now lives in Yarmouth, Bowie earned his baccalaureate degree in history from the University of Maine and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in education. Prior to accepting his position at CMCC, Bowie served for 10 years as the director of financial aid at the University of New England.
