LEWISTON — The next MS Support Group meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 10. Those attending should note that the location has changed to the New Admin-CEO Room, 96 Campus Ave., in the building next to Maison Marcotte and Campus Cuisine, the former Renaissance House. Attendees will take the elevator to the second floor.

Valentine’s dance

AUBURN — The Capt. Frank W. Hulett VFW Post 1603, 588 Minot Ave., will
host a Valentine’s dance from 7 to 11 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 13.
There is no charge to attend. For

Bottle drive

LEWISTON — Lewiston High School will have a bottle drive from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Feb. 13, at Roopers, Sabattus

Country show

MECHANIC FALLS — The Down East Country Music Association will present a country Valentine show at noon Sunday, Feb. 14, at the Silver Spur, Route 121. Entertainment will be provided by the Tennessee Bound, DECMA 2009 Award winners. There will be 50/50 drawing raffles and a snack bar. Admission is $5 for members and seniors,
$6 for nonmembers and
$2 for kids under 12.

Lungs for Leighton

TURNER — Grace Community Church in Lewiston will host the Lungs For
Leighton silent auction from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 13, at Tripp
Middle School, 65 Matthew Way. Leighton Campbell reaches people with his music. Late last year,
Campbell found out that he needs a double lung transplant due to a
disease called primary pulmonary hypertension. Without new lungs, his
music will stop.

There will be many items to bid on, including
restaurant gift certificates, store gift cards, getaways, rounds of
golf, flight lessons, veterinary care and auto care.
