AUBURN — Norman G. Anderson, 72, of Oxford, died Tuesday, Feb. 2, at the Hospice House.
He was born on Aug. 15, 1937 to George and Dorothy (Winslow) Anderson. He worked most of his life as a heavy equipment operator. He served his country faithfully in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Anderson of Oxford; a daughter, Debbie Erickson of North Carolina; two sons, Randy Barton and Charlie Barton of South Paris; son-in-law, Jerry Erickson of North Carolina; a sister, Beverly Lee of Auburn; grandchildren, Jackie Martin, Johnny Martin, Cody Erickson, Alexa Barton, Casey Barton and Morgan Harrington; great-granddaughter, Aubree Lynn Johnson; great-grandson, Braden Pike; stepdaughters, Rebecca Richardson and husband, Harry, of Oxford and Ramona White and husband, Roy, of Peru; and stepgrandchildren, Dezirae Hodgkins, Kyle Richardson, Richard Backstrom, Sammy White and Jessica White.
