Incident Report Statistics

Between 6 a.m. Jan. 31 and 6 a.m. Feb. 7, patrol officers responded to 48 complaints.

Arrests/Summonses:

On Jan. 31 — 6:12 p.m., Nikki Libby, 31, of Rumford was charged by Cpl. Douglas Maifeld with domestic assault on Strafford Avenue. Libby posted $1,000 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on March 2.

On Feb.1 — 5:11 p.m., Lishana Miller, 35, of Rumford was charged by Ptl. K. Scott Mills with domestic criminal threatening and obstructing report of a crime on Frost Drive. Miller posted $1,500 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on March 2.

On Feb. 2 — 10:50 a.m., Raymond Martin, 19, of Rumford was charged by Ptl. Donald Miller with violating conditions of release for an incident two days earlier on Franklin Street. Martin was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on March 2.

On Feb. 4 — 8:15 a.m., Betsy Lauze, 37, of Rumford was charged by Ptl. Dennis Ryder on a Rumford District Court warrant for failure to appear. Lauze posted $500 cash bail and was released.

On Feb. 4 — 8:31 a.m., 15-year-old Dixfield male juvenile was charged by Sgt Tracey Higley with illegal possession of marijuana on Forest Avenue. Juvenile is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on March 2.

On Feb. 5 — 5:05 p.m., Timothy Tuttle, 33, of Rumford was charged by Sgt. Tracey Higley with disorderly conduct and violation conditions of release on Lochness Road. Tuttle was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on April 6.

Burglary:

On Feb. 6 — 4:53 p.m., Cumberland Street resident reported theft of prescription drugs, iPod, laptop, DVDs and Xbox with a total value of $800. The case is under investigation.

Theft:

On Feb. 3 — 5:06 p.m., Bangor resident reported several $5 minnow bait traps stolen along the Androscoggin River. The case is under investigation.

On Feb. 4 — 8:04 p.m., Mexico resident reported $150 bicycle stolen from near the Library. The victim located the bicycle prior to arrival by officer. Victim suspects another juvenile harassing him.

Wanted

James Walker, 53, of Peru is wanted on a Rumford District Court warrant for failure to appear for operating under the influence.
