SPRINGFIELD, Mass. — Springfield College has named the following local students to the dean’s list for academic excellence for the fall 2009 term:

Brandon Gruver of Auburn, a second-year student majoring in applied exercise science.

Patricia Edwards of Auburn, a fourth-year student majoring in human services.

Alex Harrington of Manchester, a first-year student majoring in computer graphics/interactive digital arts.
