LEWISTON — Quilter Cynthia Cannone, a featured artist in L/A Arts’ “Pixels: Parts of a Whole” exhibit, will give an Artist Talk on Wednesday, Feb. 10, at L/A Arts’ Gallery 5.

Her quilt work is a prime example of how many small pieces can be incorporated into something greater.

She will give an informal talk on her techniques, methods and inspiration, and will share how she uses digital technology when creating quilts.

Cannone’s piece, “Jagged Winds,” a 100 percent cotton fabric quilt, may be seen in the exhibit, along with a collection of original artwork by 13 other local artists.

“Pixels: Parts of a Whole” will be up through March 27.

The Artist Talk will take place from 6 to 7 p.m. Gallery 5 is at 49 Lisbon St.

Artist Talks are free, but reservations are encouraged; call L/A Arts at 782-7228.

Gallery 5 is open to the public during exhibits from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday; from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday; and by appointment.
