Church service

SOUTH PARIS — Silver Moore-Leamon will lead the 10 a.m. service on Sunday, Feb. 14, at the
First Universalist Church, 36 Pine St. The Valentine’s Day sermon will be “The Virtue of Just
Showing Up.” Renee Wales
will lead the Sunday School and Forest Perkins will direct the music.
The coffee hour will follow in Good Cheer Hall. Child care will be provided.
Everyone is welcome. 

Sleep disorders

NORWAY — The MaineHealth Learning Resource Center at Stephens Memorial Hospital will offer a “Why Am I Tired? Sleep Disorders” seminar from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, March 1, at the Ripley Medical Building, 193 Main St.

Christopher Murry, DO, from Head and Neck Surgical Associates, will discuss a variety of sleep disorders, including snoring and apnea, insomnia and restless leg syndrome.

Potluck

WATERFORD — A community potluck supper will be held at 6 p.m.
Thursday, Feb. 18, at the Wilkins Community House in Waterford Flat, Plummer Hill Road. All are welcome. The hosts for
the supper will be Barry and Donna Patrie and Meg Wheeler. Participants should bring a dish to share.

Chorus rehearsals

SOUTH PARIS — The Benefit Chorus for the Responsible Pet Care Animal Shelter Show will rehearse from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesdays, beginning Feb. 16, in the Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School Forum. Participants are encouraged to arrive early to register. It is an opportunity for the whole family to sing together, including children in grades six to 12.
