FARMINGTON — The Franklin County Chamber of Commerce will host a breakfast for the public to meet candidates for governor at 7 a.m. Feb. 24 in the North Dining Hall at the University of Maine at Farmington.

The event provides business professionals and the public an opportunity to talk one-on-one with the candidates, hear a little about each one and enjoy the breakfast.

Registration is suggested with forms available on the chamber’s Web site at www.franklincountymaine.org

Candidates who have committed to attending include Democrats Donna Dion, John Richardson, Libby Mitchell, Steve Rowe, Pat McGowan and Rosa Scarcelli. Republican candidates include Matt Jacobson, Paul LePage, Peter Mills, Les Otten, Bruce Poliquin, J. Martin Vachon and Bill Beardsley, along with Green party candidate Lynne Williams and independent Kevin Scott.
