Auburn looks for another tune while talking to skate guard Mason White, 18, of
Turner during Disco Skate Night at Ingersoll Arena in Auburn on Sunday. Berube,
the arena manager, brought his personal
collection of disco music to the well-attended event. Berube came up with the
idea six months ago and has held four disco nights since. “We like to keep
things different and new,” said Berube. “The kids are the ones who keep asking
to bring the disco skate back,” said Berube. “Not the adults.” Berube said he
also offers a “Punk Skate.” No dates for the next punk or disco night have been
set. White is a senior at Leavitt Area High School.
