Adrien F. Labrie Jr.

LEWISTON — Adrien F. Labrie Jr., 80, of 1 Sherbrooke Ave., Lewiston, died Friday, Feb. 19, at Central Maine Medical Center.
Born in Hallowell on Feb. 21, 1929, he was the son of Adrien Sr. and Armance Boutin Labrie. Educated locally, he served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War. On Aug. 7, 1954, he married the former Constance L. Michaud at St. Peter and Paul Church in Lewiston. Prior to his retirement at age 66, he was employed for many years as a machine operator for Diamond Machine Co. He was a member of Holy Family Church, Prince of Peace Parish. He belonged to the American Legion, and for 32 years enjoyed camping with his wife and family at Mac’s Campground in West Poland. Adrien enjoyed taking trips to the ocean, boat rides, yardwork and spending time with his family and wife of 55 years.
Besides his loving wife of Lewiston, he is survived by two sons, Daniel and wife, Sharilyn, of Sabattus and Thomas and companion, Sandy Knudson, of Winston-Salem North Carolina; a brother, Gerald “Bud” Labrie and wife, Constance, of Lewiston; a sister-in-law, Sandra Panati and husband, Don, of Dresden; six grandchildren, Angela Lenehan and husband, Denis, of Millis Mass., Daniel Labrie, Ashley Labrie, Thomas Labrie, Jon Connor and wife, Angela, of Vacaville, Calif., and Amber Dunn and husband, Andrew, of Winthrop; four great-grandchildren, Julia Connor, Mckayla Connor, Jonathan Connor and Brendon Dunn. Also three nieces, Brenda, Debbie, Nancy; and a nephew, Richard.
He was predeceased by his parents.
