WINTHROP — Minot resident Janet Beardsley, CNM, MSN, has joined the MaineGeneral Medical Center’s Midwifery Service. She will be based at the Winthrop Family Practice but also cover Kennebec Valley OB/GYN.

Beardsley worked at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Lewiston before joining MaineGeneral. She has many years of experience in Maine and Vermont doing primary care, and has advanced training in office procedures, including colposcopy and biopsies.
