NORWAY — Western Maine Health Vice President of Clinical Services, M. Patricia Cook, RN, MBA, EdD, announced recently that Stephens Memorial Hospital registered nurses Shannon Santos and Amy Landry recently passed the Trauma Nurse Core Curriculum. The two-day intensive program developed by the National Emergency Nurses Association teaches an organized and thorough assessment of trauma patients with immediate life-saving interventions. Both nurses are employed in emergency services at SMH.

Santos, who has been employed at SMH for nearly a year, received her nursing degree at the CMMC School of Nursing. She lives in South Paris.

Landry earned her nursing degree from St. Joseph’s Hospital School of Nursing in Rhode Island and has worked at SMH since 1994.
