Arrests/summonses

 Feb. 15 at 4:07 a.m.: Aaron Sargent, 32, of Rumford was arrested on Spruce Street by Sgt. Tracey Higley on a warrant for failure to pay fines. Sargent was unable to post bail and was transported to the Oxford County Jail.

 Feb. 15 at 8:18 p.m.: Brian Spaulding, 32, of Rumford was arrested on Lincoln Avenue by Patrolman Donald Miller on a charge of operating after suspension. Spaulding was released on personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on May 4.

 Feb. 16 at 2 a.m.: Richard Stickney, 27, of Rumford was arrested on Prospect Avenue by Sgt. F. David Bean on charges of burglary, criminal mischief, domestic assault and refusing to submit to arrest. Stickney was unable to post bail, was taken to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in South Paris Superior Court on June 18.

 Feb. 16 at 4:45 p.m.: Steven Roberts, 20, of Mexico was arrested on Harlow Hill in Mexico by Detective Sgt. James Bernard on charges of burglary and theft. Roberts posted $1,300 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in South Paris Superior Court on June 18.

 Feb. 16 at 5:02 p.m.: Matthew McPherson, 18, of Rumford was arrested on Isthmus Road by Detective Sgt. James Bernard on a charge of burglary, theft and criminal mischief. McPherson posted $1,300 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in South Paris Superior Court on June 18.

 Feb. 16 at 8:40 p.m.: Tyler White, 19, of Rumford was charged by Detective Sgt. James Bernard for burglary, theft and criminal mischief after being arrested at Sunday River ski area in Newry. White posted $1,300 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in South Paris Superior Court on June 18.

 Feb. 18 at 3:30 p.m.: Jennifer Welch, 29, of Rumford was given a summons by Cpl. Douglas Maifeld on a charge of violation conditions of release on Franklin Street. Welch is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on April 6.

 Feb. 18 at 3:40 p.m.: Jennifer Welch, 29, of Rumford was arrested on Franklin Street by Patrolman Donald Miller on a warrant for failure to appear on charges of burglary, theft and violation of bail. Welch was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail.

 Feb. 19 at 1:23 a.m.: Nathan Harnden, 20, of Rumford was arrested on Waldo Street by Patrolman Dennis Ryder on charges of disorderly conduct and refusal to submit to arrest. Harnden posted $800 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on April 6.

 Feb. 19 at 4:34 a.m.: Craig Shaw, 31, of Rumford was arrested on Spruce Street by Sgt. Tracey Higley on charges of disorderly conduct and refusal to submit to arrest. Shaw posted $800 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on April 6.

 Feb. 19 at 10:14 p.m.: Zachary Giberson, 19, of Rumford was arrested on Lochness Road by Sgt. Tracey Higley on a charge of theft. Giberson was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on April 6.

 Feb. 20 at 1:35 a.m.: Derek Sicotte, 20, of Mexico was arrested on Lincoln Avenue by Patrolman Scott Landis on a warrant for failure to pay fines. Sicotte posted $275 cash bail and was released.

 Feb. 21 at 4:25 a.m.: Bobby Trotter, 51, of Rumford was arrested on Plymouth Avenue by Sgt. F. David Bean on a charge of domestic assault. Trotter was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on April 6.

 Feb. 21 at 7:42 p.m.: Jennifer Norris, 37, of Rumford was issued a summons by Sgt. F. David Bean on a charge of furnishing a place for a minor to consume alcohol on South Rumford Road. Norris is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on April 6.

 Feb. 21 at 8:30 p.m.: Chelsea Santos, 20, of Bourne, Mass., was issued a summons by Sgt. Tracey Higley on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia on South Rumford Road. Santos is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on April 6.

 Burglary

Feb. 17 at 8:58 p.m.: Maine State Police reported a burglary at a Hall Hill Road residence in the past month. Suspects in their burglary admitted to the break-in. The case is under investigation with charges pending.

 Theft

Feb. 21 at 8:38 a.m: Cumberland Street resident reported theft of a debit card. The case is under investigation.

 Wanted

Shane Hatfield, 20, of Rumford is wanted on a Bangor District Court warrant for failure to appear for an assault. The  warrant was issued Feb. 1.
