DURHAM — No injuries were reported in a crash between a car and an oil truck on Pinkham Brook Road Friday.

Androscoggin Sheriff’s Sgt. Jim Jacques identified the truck driver as Kevin O’Farrell, 39, of Bowdoinham and the driver of the car as Christie Tebbets, 39, of Lewiston.

The 2007 Kenworth oil truck, owned by Coastal Transportation, was not damaged. Deputy Marc Caron, who investigated, estimated damage to the front of Tebbets’ 2004 Volvo at $2,500 in the 11:30 a.m. crash.

An Auburn driver, George Estabrook, escaped apparent injury Saturday morning when he lost control of his pickup on Swamp Road. According to Sgt. Jacques, Estabrook skidded off the left shoulder and slammed into a tree. He was not injured. Damage to his 2000 Chevrolet pickup truck was estimated at $2,600 in the 7:35 a.m. crash.

There were several other “slide-offs” Saturday morning, Jacques said, but no one was injured and damages were minor, if any.
