AUBURN — Robin Dow Senior Citizens will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 10, at the American Legion Hall, 426 Washington St. The board of directors will meet at 10 a.m.
Tickets will be on sale, for $8, for the Easter dinner, to be held Wednesday, March 24. Lucien Marcoux will be head chef, and the meal will be served under his direction with his volunteer assistants. Bingo will be played following the meeting.
Thirty-six members were present when the group met on Feb. 24 under the direction of the president, Merry Strout. Chaplain Pat Donohue gave a special prayer in memory of Margaret Merrill, a member of Robin Dow Senior Citizens, who passed away Feb. 10. Mary Ray was welcomed as a new member and Kaye DeBurra was welcomed back after being out for some time because of illness.
Attendance drawing winners were Hope Telow and Jeannette Gagne; pot of gold, Bernice Brooks and Natalie St. Clair; mystery prize, Virginia Gagne, Virginia Houston and Yvette Frechette.
After the close of the meeting and a bag lunch, members played bingo.
