FARMINGTON — The University of Maine at Farmington Career Services will host its annual Job Fair from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, March 11, at the Olsen Student Center on the University of Maine campus on South Street.

The event is free and open to the public.

The annual event for more than 15 years will feature recruiting representatives from more than 30 businesses and organizations. Representatives will be on campus to hire for full-time, part-time and seasonal positions and internships. Businesses represented will include those focusing on business management, community and mental health programs, recreation sports, hospitality services, summer camps and other ventures.

Registration is not required by job seekers but is available to facilitate entrance. To register, visit the UMF Career Services Web site at http://chd.umf.maine.edu/Recruiting/CareerFair.php.

This event is sponsored by the UMF Center for Human Development, Healthy Maine Partnership of Greater Waterville, Medomak Camp and Retreat Center, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, JobsInME.com, Employment Times, Enterprise Holdings and MaineJobs.com/Monster.

Next in the series of employment fairs will be UMF’s annual Education Job Fair from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 27, in North Dining Hall in the UMF Olsen Student Center.
