LISBON — The Lisbon Historical Society will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 10, in Rooms 5 and 6 of the MTM Center, 18 School St., Lisbon Falls.

Gary Girouard will present “Acadia and Acadians.” He will speak about his search for his French-Canadian and Acadian ancestors.

Originally from Lewiston, Girouard has resided in Lisbon Falls for the past 22 years. He is a member of the Lisbon Historical Society and a life member of both the Maine Franco-American Genealogical Society in Auburn and the American-Canadian Genealogical Society of Manchester, N.H.

A question and answer session will follow the presentation, along with refreshments.

Those attending are asked to use the rear entrance behind the Methodist Church and the MTM Center.
