FARMINGTON — The Maine Centers for Women, Work and Community will offer a five-week career exploration training for those thinking of making a career change. The training will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesdays, March 16 through April 13, at the office at 108 Perham St.

Participants will review skills, interests and experiences and relate them to career options; identify educational and training opportunities; and develop a step-by-step plan to achieve career goals.

Women, Work, and Community is a statewide nonprofit organization committed to improving the economic lives of Maine women and their families. The organization works with individuals “where they are” and provides them with support, guidance and the tools they need to take the next steps toward a more promising future. 

The organization provides individual assistance and group training in building careers, starting and growing businesses, planning for financial security and becoming community leaders.
